1999 H-D FXDL Dyna Low Rider
The Harley-Davidson FXS Low Rider was a classic American cruiser motorcycle that debuted in 1977. It was part of H-D’s Dyna family and was known for its distinctive styling and powerful performance. In 1993 Harley introduced the FXDL Dyna Low rider which continued through 2009. In 1999 The displacement was increased to 88” delivering more power and torque than the previous model. The bike still remained essentially unchanged in the aesthetic department, with a raked-out fork, a round headlight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a one-piece dual seat with a low riding position and a chrome performance exhaust with a deep chopper note. Its suspension was fitted on a tubular steel frame and included a 39 mm telescopic fork on the front and dual side-mounted shock absorbers on the rear, offering excellent suspension performance and handling. The front end is equipped with dual disc brakes and another on the rear delivering excellent stopping power. This particular example was optioned in a gorgeous two-tone Laser Red and Vivid Black that look great together. It has been nicely upgraded with a passenger backrest, a windshield, a large windshield pouch, leather saddle bags and leather grips. Within the last 2,000 miles it received new tires, brakes and a battery. Within the last 200 miles it received new fluids and filters. The bike is very original and in amazing shape for a bike of its age. It currently has 25,345 miles and everything works as it should.
