1977 Corvette Fully Loaded with 40,252 Miles
The Corvette is a line of American 2 door 2 seat sports cars manufactured by Chevrolet since 1953. The 3rd generation (C3) was patented after the Mako Shark II concept car. It was sold from 1968 through 1982 and were the first coupes to feature T-tops. New for 1976 was a modified hood that changed the air induction system to pull air from further forward over the radiator eliminating the howl that could be heard in the cabin. In 1977 the console was redesigned to accept a larger stereo, its instruments were restyled, the climate controls were simplified, title & telescoping steering were added and the leather steering wheel and interior were now standard equipment. This particular example has just 40,252 original miles and retains its original L48 engine and Turbo 350 auto transmission. It is fully loaded with A/C that blows ice cold, power windows, a rear window defroster, Gymkhana suspension, a map light, an AM/FM Stereo with cassette, a heavy-duty battery and newer American Racing wheels with Mickey Thompson tires. It was serviced within the last 100 miles at which time the A/C system was completely overhauled, the braking system was overhauled, new valve covers with a matching air cleaner were installed, a new Holley 650cfm carb was installed, the trans pan gasket was replaced, it was completely serviced and tuned up. Based on its present condition we would very conservatively appraise this as a number 3 car which would have a current value of $21,125. We are serious about selling her and have priced it accordingly so if you like what you see we encourage you to contact us before someone else beats you to it!
