1966 CORVETTE 427/425 HP 4-SPEED
The C2 Corvette was produced by Chevrolet from 1963 – 1967 and was designed to deliver improved passenger space, more luggage space, as well as a superior ride and handling over previous Corvettes. 1965 was the first year for the 425 HP Turbo-Jet V8 as well as 4 wheel disc brakes and the nonfunctional horizontal speedlines were replaced with a trio of working vertical exhaust vents in the front fenders. This particular example was factory optioned in Sunfire Yellow with a Black interior and a long list of factory options. Those options include the 425 HP V8 Turbo Jet engine, a 4 speed manual transmission, a posi rear end with 4:11 gears, power windows, tinted glass, a wood steering wheel, a push button AM/FM radio, a K66 transistor ignition and vacuum power brakes. This car retains all of its original fiberglass and is 100% numbers matching with the exception of the CE block. The 3rd owner had a complete frame off rotisserie restoration completed in 2009 by Harmony Corvette Restorations who are one of the best Corvette restorers in the world. The current (4th owner) had the engine professionally rebuilt by Headline Performance Machine in 2016 to completely original specs and it has only been driven 386 miles since. Not only that but there are only 2,782 miles on the restoration in total. To duplicate a car like this you would need to find an unmolested core and then get in line, as there is a long list of people wanting Harmony to restore their Corvette which takes thousands of man hours and far more money than we are asking for this car. If you could see this timeless classic sitting in your garage you better pick up the phone before this opportunity slips away!
