1988 IROC-Z Camaro Convertible with 32,163 Miles

The 1st generation Camaro first arrived in dealerships in September of 66 as a 67 model on a brand new F body platform. It is now in its 6th generation and is still a top seller for Chevrolet. The 3rd generation was offered from 1982 through 1992. The IROC-Z (International Race of Champions) was first introduced in 1985 and continued through 1990. In 1987 the IROC-Z engine was upgraded to the L98 350ci 5.7L V8 and was only available with the 700R4 auto trans. 1987 was also the first year for the convertible to be reintroduced as it was last produced in 1969. In 1988 only 3,761 convertibles were made and are distinguished by a 3rd brake light in the rear spoiler, N96 16” aluminum wheels and it was the 1st year with a true serpentine belt system. This particular example was finished in Bright Red with a Grey interior and a Black cloth top. It is completely original except for the normal wear items which have been replaced and the upgraded stereo and speakers. It was recently serviced and everything works as it should. It is in amazing condition, has incredibly low miles and is in need of nothing but a new home. If you like what you see don’t wait to contact as this one is certain to sell as quick as it goes!
